Honda expands recall of 833,000 vehicles

DETROIT - Honda Motor Co. a recall expanded so that it can check the driver air bags on another 833,000 vehicles for a possible error.

The automaker said, is it the vehicles to a previous callback add, since some may have had faulty air bags installed, if they have been fixed after a crash.

Honda said in a statement to break Monday night, that force can deploy the air bags with too much and a housing and can lead to injury or death.

Vehicles that are added to the callback are some 2001 and 2002 accord and civic, 2002 Odyssey, 2002 and 2003 CR-V, 2002 and 2003 Acura 3.2 TL and 2003 Acura 3.2 CL models.

Honda said cities faulty air bags were to overthrow installed, but do not know, what vehicles has.

The recall is being expanded to 833,000 vehicles which might need testing.

Honda originally announced the recall, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in November 2008, with less than 4,000 2001 agreement and civics.

In February 2010 Honda more than 378,000 cars added to the callback, which is the number of affected vehicles to 822,000.

Honda said it was at the time aware 12 incidents relating to the problem, with 11 injuries and a dead.

Owner will be notified by E-mail the end of May. If an owner is confident that the airbag still is not exchanged, can they inform the company. Everyone else should have checked their vehicle from a dealer.
