Corvette owner record that drives can be shared

The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette have a new system, with the owners take their drives and share the video with friends.

The system uses a windshield-mounted camera, a microphone and a recorder, to track data. Drivers can edit the videos, their speed, location, lap times and other statistics.

The video is viewable on the Corvette eight inch color touchscreen, if the car is parked, or downloaded onto a computer. Driver can record up to 13 hours of driving time.

General motor developed the system with Cosworth, a British company that the Corvette racing team electronics system provides.

GM introduced Sunday at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. It didn't say how much the option.

Corvette on sale enters the next fall of 2015.
