Nissan restart more car factories in Japan

Nissan plans more Japanese works next resume in week, but it auto and parts production may be a few months before supplies and other elements of the auto industry of the country back to normal.

The automaker says it will continue production of parts at the five sites Monday. It then plans to vehicle production Thursday resume, as long as supplies last.

Most of the Japanese automobile industry shut down after a powerful earthquake and tsunami devastated the country earlier of this month. Nissan and other automakers have begun resuming production, but the industry is still facing rolling blackouts and infrastructure problems that can hinder it until mid or late summer.

Nissan says that that be restarted plants not in full production.
