GM Barra: We are saddened by the callback, we will fix the problem

General Motors CEO Mary Barra will testify on Tuesday that the number 1 of the U.S. automakers is sorry for the pain, to accelerate through the defective ignition switches in connection with at least 13 dead and its suppliers to increase the production of spare parts asking to the callback.

Posted in testimony Monday on the U.S. House energy and Commerce Committee website Barra said they still no answers on why GM more than 10 years that start faulty switch. She will testify on Tuesday the House of representatives and the Senate on Wednesday.

"I can't tell you why it took years announced a safety defect in this program (small car), but I can tell you that we find out," according to a text of her opening speech.
