Former Popemobile goes on sale for $350,000

The lineup which offers upcoming Quail Lodge car auction in California could be tons of impressive vehicles, but this our favorite.

This 1964 Lincoln Continental sedan, was to take per a request of the Vatican to Pope Paul VI through the streets of New York, when he visited the United Nations to talk peace in 1965, according to Bonhams, specifically the auction (via the guardian) is running.

Special Pope sanctioned amenities include exterior step plates and handrails for security, additional seating for "Helper and prelates", a raised seat for the Supreme Pontiff and a public address system.
