Honda recalls almost 700,000 small cars

TOKYO - Honda is remembered almost 700,000 fit, freed and city cars around the world for a broken spring part compact that it can lead to a halt.

No accidents associated with reported the problem, but at least 72 complaints were in Japan and in other countries, 29 Tomohiro Okada Thursday said Honda Motor Co. Chairman filed.

Recalls 167,000 vehicles in Japan, 156,000 Honda in China and 233,000 in the rest of Asia, Tokyo-based said. Approximately 122,000 cars are recalled in North America.
