11 February 2011-12: 12 pm ET David bar is a staff reporter for automotive NewsHere a gentle reminder Detroit 3 CEO Dan Akerson, Alan Mulally and Sergio Marchionne's:
You are in a negotiating mandate year with the UAW.
The huge salaried bonuses have you OK'd - what the hourly autoworkers Grebe-play well on the Assembly line.
Chrysler Group average 2010 bonus for an employee is reportedly $10,000- or more than 13 times $750 each hourly workers.
Gary Walkowicz, a UAW collective bargaining Committee which said representative of the employees in the Ford Rouge plant in Dearborn, Michigan, the oversized salaried bonuses show automakers the money and the apparent willingness to select workers a greater share of the success of the company to cut.
He said he and many of its employees want to receive the workers a real boost as part of a new labor contract in September, not only a bonus as those negotiated this year.
Poses, still have the advantage of the arising and compounding in over time.
"This is one reason longer, harder, again the press we've abandoned concessions," said Walkowicz who ran a protest action against Bob King at last year's UAW agreement for the Presidency of the Union.
These concessions from the Detroit 3's 120,000 UAW represented workers have totaled $7,000 to $30,000 per employee by King's own account since 2005.
King wants back claw, some of those sacrifices when it comes to negotiate new agreements with Detroit automakers this year. The current four year contracts expire in September.
These new employee bonuses make this master talks just that much more interesting.
