It could be days before the storm battered dries East Coast that even weeks. Brutal winds and extensive flooding from Maine to the Carolinas has destroyed homes and businesses and left millions without electricity, forced to close even the New York City subway.
The destruction is probably thousands of vehicles through flood destroyed or damaged. In some cases, vehicles can be repaired. But many will have suffered extensive and irreparable damage and should be scrapped. That doesn't mean that they are.
